Since 29 June 2018, Mayer & Cie. (MCT) can officially claim membership in Germany’s most innovative group SMEs. On 29 June, Benjamin Mayer, Marcus Mayer and Sebastian Mayer collected the Top 100 award. With that, Mayer & Cie. successfully defends the title it first won in 2016. The award was handed over by host Ranga Yogeshwar at the SME Summit in Ludwigsburg.
“We are delighted to have been named one of the most innovative German SMEs for the second time already,” said Mayer & Cie.’s Marcus Mayer, Member of the Executive Board and responsible for research and development, among other areas. “For us, it is part of our self-understanding to advance in the market and think in terms of new solutions. This requires us to take the long view in business – but also to show courage, as not every idea manages to become an innovation.” That both belong to the company’s DNA since several decades can be seen in MCT’s technologies, which continue to set new standards. These include, for example, electronic single needle selection or relative technology. The latter celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The highly regarded new technology spinitsystems has just recently gone into serial production.
